How the process of commissioning a portrait works:
1. After an initial down payment I consult with you and review the photos that I'd be using for reference.
2. Once we've decided on an image as well as the size and dimensions, I'll calculate the cost of the final painting and ask for another payment. This second payment plus the initial down payment will equal half the final cost.
3. I get to work and give you frequent updates along with photos of how it's progressing. When it's done, I'll send you photos to make sure you're pleased with it.
4. Once it's dry, I'll post the painting on the website reserved for you. For a sale price that includes the final payment, and cost of shipping.
5. When you receive the painting, if you decide that you're not satisfied with it, you can return it to me and I will reimburse you for half the final cost.
