A few things influenced this, the book series by Jasper Fforde, Thursday Next, and the movie Missing Link. At the time I was feeling frustrated with the state of the country, thinking about how overly confident people were that things would turn out fine, and wondering if extinct critters had that same kind of confidence. The book titles on the table are Prosperity Christianity, and Dodo Exceptionalism. The wallpaper was an indulgence, but that purple was fun to play with. I'm particularly pleased with the way the lamp glows.
This print of my original oil painting is on Somerset Velvet Fine Art Paper. This 100% cotton rag, acid-free paper offers a velvet surface that highlights vivid colors, rich blacks, and gentle textures in a way that faithfully represents my original work.
This print is sold without a frame. I've included a picture of what it can look like in a frame. All prints are in standard sizes for framing but I think it's more cost effective for customers to purchase a frame that suits their style, and this also cuts down on shipping costs.
