The original painting that this print is based on was on a thick primed wood panel. I cut 2 slits on either side of where the ostrich's neck would be, painted it, and then when it was dry I tied a man's tie onto it. It was fun and kooky - but honestly the gimmick of it over shadowed how good looking this guy is. I'm glad he can get the attention he deserves now.
This print of my original oil painting is on Somerset Velvet Fine Art Paper. This 100% cotton rag, acid-free paper offers a velvet surface that highlights vivid colors, rich blacks, and gentle textures in a way that faithfully represents my original work.
This print is sold without a frame. I've included a picture of what it can look like in a frame. All prints are in standard sizes for framing but I think it's more cost effective for customers to purchase a frame that suits their style, and this also cuts down on shipping costs.
